FLAG offers complimentary classroom presentations and guest speakers to teachers of grades K-12. Classroom presentations are led by certified FLAG Ambassadors, including Founder & CEO Nick Adams, who are in many cases accompanied by real-world business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians, and American immigrants who came to this country to pursue the American Dream.
FLAG’s course offerings cover a wide variety of topics including entrepreneurship, immigration, American exceptionalism, American history, and the American Dream. Each presentation takes students on an exciting, engaging journey as they learn first-hand from entrepreneurs, business leaders, activists, and American immigrants who share their stories. The Road To 1787:
America’s Founding & Founding Documents
In this presentation, students will learn about America’s founding and the U.S. Constitution from a certified FLAG Ambassador. This presentation is customized for each grade level to fulfill the federally mandated Constitution Day education requirement.
Chasing The American Dream:
An Immigrant’s Story
In this presentation, students will learn about the U.S. immigration system and why so many people seek to become citizens of our great country. Students will also get to learn from, meet, and ask questions of a successful American citizen who immigrated to the U.S. during their childhood or adult life.
Living The American Dream:
Entrepreneurship 101
In this presentation, students will learn about entrepreneurship and what it means to live the American Dream from a certified FLAG Ambassador. Students will also get to learn from, meet, and ask questions of a successful local entrepreneur who started their own business and achieved the American dream.
